Staff Experience
Staff come with various levels. A one star staff member is slower and prone to mistakes, and will only have one slot available for traits. They are also the cheapest to hire. You can hire staff with more experience, or train them to increase their level and title, which then increases how many traits they can have.
The following sections contain more in-depth strategy to each and every level. When I complete the transition to Version 2.0 sometime in July, each level will have a star-by-star explanation of what works and what doesn't.

To use the Two Points Hospital console commands, follow the steps outlined below:
Note, however, that this workaround needs Cheat Engine installed.
- Download the necessary .dll file here. It is in a 7z archive so you will need to extract it to somewhere safe, like the desktop.
- Navigate to your games folder, and then to the following file: Two Point Hospital TPH_DataManagedAssembly-CSharp-firstpass.dll
- Copy that .dll file to somewhere safe and then copy and replace it with the .dll file you downloaded and extracted in step 1.
- Open Cheat Engine, load the table and then launch the game.
- Enable ‘Two Point Hospital’ > ‘Enable Console’ before, or during the loading screen
- All commands will be loaded once you enter a hospital.
Here are all the console commands to Two Point Hospital thus far:
- closehospital – Closes the hospital so you may build without patients arriving.
- openhospital – Reopens hospital.
- upgradeitem – Upgrades, by one level, the equipment your cursor is placed over.
- Setmaintenancelevelfull- Fully repairs the equipment your cursor is placed over.
- spawnrequiredstaff – spawns a staff member for each room that has no staff in it. This command spawns up to five nurses in wards or five doctors in research if extra slots have been opened.
- clearqualifications – Removes all qualifications from the character your cursor is placed over.
- setstaffrank 0/1/2/3/4 – Sets the rank of the character your cursor is placed over.
- assignqualification – Assigns qualifications to a character.
